  Why did Michael Jackson change his appearance?

  MJ stated once that he thought Afro-Americans were an ugly race, which may have been induced by his unthoughtful father's comments when

  he was a teen trying to establish self confidence. From the first nose job he continued with reconfiguring his face to that of a white person

  including straightening his hair. Its true he may have been psychologically impaired with dysmorphic disorder, in conjunction with a strong bout of narcissism.

  The sad part of his story is that I think the plastic surgeons that he connected to, took advantage of his situation and monopolized on it to make them rich.

  Just like the so called doctors that were said to be in his care, they were more or less PHD drug pushers that gave him whatever he wanted just so they would

  be kept on staff and on the payroll. All a bunch of Hollywood blood Suckers

  Is The MJ Situation Damaging to the WTS

  with so many articles and news stories on-line regarding michael jackson, his involvement with the jws and now his children being taken to the kingdom hall, will this damage the reputation of the watch tower society?

  many of these articles have comments from exjws telling the truth about 'the truth', plus google searches are throwing people onto freeminds..

  Personaly I think it is since so many people are searching information on the NET about the JWS,

  and being there is far more negitive information than positve , the population is getting informaly informed.

  Connecting MJ bahavior right to up to his untimely death with the JWS should be prove damaging indirectly, ( Good )

  even though MJ didn't have anything to do with the JWS for more than 25 years.

  but it fits in this case.. we just rolled in from vacation, got our first mail delivery since getting back yesterday.

  in the stack of mail was an envelope with a card.

  i finally broke my silence yesterday in a discussion with my mom.

  for months now i have been dropping hints here and there that i am not pleased with many things happening in the org, but i would always present it from a concerned jw prospective.

  my wife wants us to remain closet jw's because she has bigger reservations of displeasing her family than i do, and wants to continue playing the game.. yesterday however my wife wasn't around, and for the 100th time my mom was ragging on me for attending one of my best friend's weddings because he was marrying a non jw, and the fact that his df'd brother was there.

  Interesting isn't when you make an honest and open evaluation about the JWS you get frowned on and chastised

  for doing so, make it up for the established arrogance and the protectionism of the organization of itself.

  There were many warnings of false prophets, throughout the bible that a true Christian is suppose to be on guard against,

  something this organization has never promoted in a strong and meaningful way and perhaps in cause of this they became very powerful

  and widespread. The constant brain washing that the members are put through, like this organization is it and we are the only one

  gets permeated and constantly implied , thinking individually on your own is just being spiritually weak and therefore worthy of being watched.

  Its essentially a power game where obtained power by men is held on to by a designed set of rules so they can maintain it.

  If a person does not want to subject themselves to these controls, its best to not hang around.

  Some things really ticked me off at the meeting last night...

  ...aside from the snooze fest that was the "bible study", taken by a brother who was 5 minutes late - went 10 minutes over and obiously hadn't prepared shit for the meeting (this is the same brother that "encouraged" me to be 15 minutes early for all meetings to welcome people).

  1) i had the no3 talk, about "christians helping the poor", no source material or anything.

  i played it good, spoke about our duty to be good christians, and charitable to everyone, and how it is a conscience matter as to how we donate our money or charitable deeds.i even used a quote by mother theresa.

  And the witlesses only put on the illusion of charity by helping those of their own kind, or those who they thought would study and become witlesses after being helped. Real charity does not demand or insinuate any indebtedness after the act of charity.

  Well said WTwizard, the JWS never have invoked an initiative to help the poor and disadvantaged in their own community.

  When other religious organization do so much to help out in their own community and a broad in different countries , the JWS do absolutely nothing.

  Not exactly what one would define as being Christian, in the figurative sense.

  Oh wait a second thats just Satan's Christendom thats helping out those people.........I forgot

  I think the most destructing thing about this arrangement for the kids, outside of being involved with the the JWS is

  the age of their grandmother, Grannies are nice to visit but to live with continually is something quite different.

  And you can bet they wont like those boring meetings at the Kingdom Hall.

  They really should have called themselves YHWH'S Witnesses. How would you feel and respond by someone not

  addressing you with your actual name ? Not even in the correct language !
